REVEALED: FULHAM ASK FOR FOR THREE TOTTENHAM PLAYERS TO BE INCLUDED IN DEMBELE DEAL

Tottenham rejected Fulham's request for a player-exchange in the Moussa Dembele transfer, Football Insider sources understand.

The Championship club were keen for one of Nabil Bentaleb, Alex Pritchard or Harry Winks to move to Craven Cottage on loan in part-exchange for Dembele.

But Tottenham held firm in negotiations and no Spurs player will move to the west Londoners for the rest of the campaign.

Football Insider revealed on Saturday morning that Dembele was set to undergo a Spurs medical after agreeing a move to White Hart Lane.

Spurs will pay an initial £1.7million plus add-ons for the young striker, who passed a medical at White Hart Lane on Saturday.

Fulham are under a transfer embargo this month and can only recruit players on loan rather than permanent deals.

Pritchard, who had a successful loan spell at Brentford last season, has just returned to training after three months out with an ankle injury, while Winks has attracted lots of interest from Championship clubs.

Bentaleb, 21, has lost his regular starting place following the emergence of Delle Alli and Eric Dier's switch to central midfield but is still highly regarded by manager Mauricio Pochettino.

In other Tottenham transfer news, Pochettino has still not given up  hope of enticing Saido Berahino from West Brom.
