New GK coach until the end of the season, not sure what difference it will make or why we needed a gk coach but he is experienced and with Gray and others we have a solid looking backroom set up...

Hilda the Tealady did it part time.
But she has gave up as her old knees can't take
it no more..

Flowed was a good goalie, having been sat behind the goals when the former g/k coach did warm up with lonergan and lewis, I always thought he was not as good as hans seagers was with schwarzer

with the amount of goals we have conceded and especially from set pieces, it could be argued that our goal keeping coach wasn't very good

Vic Bettinelli is the Academy GK coach.

And, what with Marcus, Joronen, Rodak, Norman and Ashby-Hammond all having gained International recognition, would be justified in feeling quite pleased with himself.

Up until today the Goal keeping coach was a certain Mr Martin Brennan whose only previous first team coaching was a short period at Wycombe Wanderers.

Most of his coaching work has been done with school boys and U21's until he was promoted by Symons along with all the other junior staff.

He must be a decent coach but the question is, does his ability to coach youngsters translate into the big,tough world of Pro football?

I think what had happened is that when Kit took over he brought Martin Brennan with him through to the first team after being with Kit in the U21's. I believe Vic had then been coaching both U21s and U18s for a while so now i presume Martin has gone back to U21s and Flowers come in to take his place.

I thought Curbs was involved with the tea, biscuits, bovril and goalkeeping coaching duties....he seems to be doing a good job as our defensive coach......just out of interest what does he do???
