MK Dons centre half is now 67 and still plays guitar in his spare time.
When the season ends he is touring the US with Bad Company.

He transformed Crystal Palace when he joined them in 1975,
who were at the time 'struggling' with their boring style, but he certainly
added  a tougher edge to their play, although at times a bit rocky for some
diehard fans.

Watching from the Putney End today will be his wife Marjorie Bach, sister-in-law
to Ringo Starr, who was formerly married to the ridiculously named
Lord Alexander Rufus-Isaacs a member of the California Bar Association !!
Known to his friends as Xan, the Oxford educated toff is founder of the
Beverley Hills Cricket Club and on his LinkedIn page shows a picture of members
of Bob Marleys former backing band, The Wailers and is partially named after Fulham's
former marauding left back.

'Xan' is the son of the 3rd Marquess of Reading, who is dead and whose team lost 1-0 to MK Dons in January.

When asked by a reporter "What is it like living in Milton Keynes" ? Marjorie replied  "Where" ?
