Aluko has a poor record for goals but does anyone regret him? Is Vydra even an out and out striker? For some reason I imagine he'd play in the 3 behind a striker?

Different types of players for me. If you play vydra in the number 10 where does Aluko or Cairney play if you play them all? Vydra for me is a striker and that's where he has gone barren

For me Vydra has been poor for 18 months his record since his break through seasons is 22 in 100 games, away from Watford he has 6 in 54, so for me replacing 40 goals with him will be very difficult.

Aluko was a free agent, who has performed really well so far - why would you regret?

He's more of a supporting striker, so his contribution isn't to be measured entirely in goals scored. Mainly coming off bench last year

I'd take him. Not striker we're crying out for, but a squad player. Still only 29 (thought he was older) bags of pace, defenders hate him, think Jokanovic is a bit of a fan. Oh, and he'd come on the old famous Fulham freebie.

I'd have Nugent, not the best striker available but gets goals. Juan Carlos Paredes gets big thumbs up from me, quality fullback. and Ben Haim is a definite no.

Yeah, I think it`s rather a younger Ben Haim (a winger who played under Joka last yeat at Maccabi) more than his more famous namesake who is at the end of his career.

I have to admit to ignoring most speculation about transfers because it is just that.  Get your hopes up and then whack....   What I am sure about is the fact Jokanovic has said what he wants and needs, Khan appears to have approved, and it is now down to the negotiators to deliver.   I am also pretty certain Jokanovic will not be interested in expensive liabilities but will be seeking out either solid young prospects or reliable and experienced players who are either at their peak or reaching it.  Watching Championship football over the weekend has reminded me how well Jokanovic has done with his team and he'll not want to ruin that hard work with poor signings.
