These two articles discuss the finances of the PL clubs under the new FFP rules.

Matters look good for most clubs under the huge tv payments which dominate the finances of most clubs.

A major issue for the future though will be the difference in finances between clubs coming down with the profits of a few years in the PL behind them plus the parachute payments against more modest sized clubs who have been in the Championship for a few years.

I am sure that the Championship clubs can compete but it will require a good manager and a hard working squad that pride themselves on teamwork like a Leicester or Fulham under Hodgson.
