 Ireland deserved their win tonight against Italy.
Three home nations plus Ireland have reached the knock out stages.

Great win.  Have always liked Wes Hoolahan and very pleased that his ability to pass a football has done him proud.

Splendid scenes after the final whistle.  There's surely only one coach in world football who would greet the winning goal scorer with a hand around the throat.  Roy Keane, you aren't quite one of a kind, but hopefully all the others are safely locked up.

Great entertainment. Fabulous drama. Loved the result and the celebrations.

I'm a bit Irish myself and always wish them success (except against England).

Hope there were no biscuits involved!...or am I being a bit too cynical?

It was an amazing performance and a well deserved win.
I really thought Ireland had missed their chance when Hoolahan fluffed his shot, but he redeemed himself minutes later with a great cross to set up the winner.

Now on to France in the next round - hopefully to get some revenge for Thierry Henry's dodgy handball!
