Two More Clubs Interested in Dembele

What's being said in the forum now? Click to join the Vital Fulham forum!
Although it pains me to say it, I can`t for the life of me see Moussa Dembele being at Craven Cottage next season.

With there being no movement on the young French striker signing a new contract, the list of possible destinations for the French U20 striker is growing by the day.

Today two new destinations have been added to the list with Liverpool and Glasgow Celtic being linked with a move for the player who in his 64 appearances for Fulham has netted 19 times.

Whilst a move to Liverpool, working under Jurgen Klopp, may seem enticing the chances of regular first-team football could be limited.

However, when it comes to Celtic and working with Brendan Rodgers, the outlook with regards to regular first-team football could be better. Celtic are short on striking talent having seen Anthony Stokes, Colin Kazim-Richards and Carlton Cole all leave the club.

But, whilst accepting Dembele will most probably be leaving, it seems that whoever signs the youngster, as long as he remains in the UK, will get a bargain with Fulham only entitled to a development fee that will be in the region of £250,000.

McCormack Interest Reported

To lose one of our main strikers, in the shape of Moussa Dembele, would be bad enough but to lose a second, in the shape of Ross McCormack would be a devastating blow.

But that could very well be the case.

Although Slavisa Jokanovic has heavily hinted that he wants to build a promotion winning team around McCormack, a player that has remained loyal to the Fulham cause, the lure of playing in the Premier League may be something that McCormack might not be able to resist.

Today, lurking in the Birmingham Mail of all places, is the inference that Steve Bruce, in charge of Hull City who were promoted back to the Premier League again this season, sees Ross McCormack as a striker that can play a part in ensuring Hull City consolidate their Premier League status in 2016 / 2017.

Our source also goes on to suggest that Aston Villa and Newcastle United, managed by Roberto Di Matteo and Rafa Benitez respectively, are also keen to lure the Scottish international away from Craven Cottage for a fee said to be of the magnitude of £15 million.

Unattached Dan Burn Joins Wigan Athletic

Announcements where made last month from Dan Burn stating that he would be departing from the club at the end of the season,

Burn took to Twitter back in May letting us know he was leaving the club.

His time at the club officially came to an end this month when the centre back's contract expired.

The 24 year old took to Twitter once more on Thursday evening to announce the following statement.

Personally I would like to wish him all the best for his future endeavors, Burn always wore his heart on his sleeve, It was evident his admiration for the club and the fans.

Fulham - Burn Joins Wigan

It was perhaps surprising that when the names of those players who were not being retained the name of Dan Burn was on the list.

The defender, after all, had made more than a fair share of appearances for Fulham last season.

But it seems that, having been released, it hasn`t taken Burn long to find another club.

Our associates at the Sun are reporting that the defender, all six feet five inches of him, has joined Wigan Athletic on a free transfer.

Our source goes on to confirm that the newly promoted side and Dan agreed terms last night.

Our thanks go to Dan Burn for his contribution to the Fulham cause and wish him well for the future.
