The Posters who kept saying last season that Slav doesnt rate
him might be a bit wide of the mark.
Reading an article on Matt today said he carried an injury
for most of last season, and then when he was fit he couldnt get in
because of the goals of Ross and Dembele.
Think Matty is more in Slavs plans than you might think.

I like Smith. He works hard, Is massive, and can score goals. All of that is valuable to have in the side.

I will settle for 60 mins of Smith starting. He does offer some defensive height at set pieces as both Madl & Kalas are not the tallest.

I have always rated him. I recall when he played for Oldham v Liverpool in an FA Cup tie they could not handle him at all. Hope his time has come for us.

Smith dos well today for sure but I think it was Madl again. Hardly put a foot wrong

MOTM should be McDonald. Him and Parker bossed centre midfield.

We were a little silly as in first half we were far superior to Preston and should have killed off match. Smith played well enough and we lost presence when he went off.

How many seconds does it take to score a goal? Matt Smith has done it twice in as many games. Cannot ask for more than that.
