What is worring me most about this business between Slava
and Kline is it could become a big problem between now and
Window Closure about us signing anyone.
The story about our Boss in the Daily Mirror today is read by
all these players here, and word gets about on Social Media.
Some players who could or are in our plans might have second thoughts
about joining us on the grounds of these internal spats, and if the
manager walks they might be a bit worried who comes in, someone
they played for before who doesn't fancy them, and so they are
left in limbo at another club..Sort this mess out Mr Khan.

Don't they just read the Mirror for the pictures and the colours?

so a player that the manager supposedly doesn't want, might not sign because of the spat? Isn't it in our interest that they don't sign in the first place so they don't pee off our manager?

That article is just an example of journos doing what they do best; take an interview and spin multiple stories out of it to fill column inches.  I would hope that players would take any of these stories with a pinch of salt as they should have inside experience of the multitude of stories that are just pure fabrication.

Holders

They know what's happening on their own grapevine, they don't need the gutter press.

Other way round.
A player the manager does want, might not sign if he
Knows or suspects the manager is going.

Beano and  Tits Weekly...
Apart from our Matty who is well read and reads the financial times
In the Bogs at Motspur.

but think of how much fun we will have blockading the next jags game and wembley. seeing poor old shads face live on telly when he is told the game cant go ahead. that said we might get the players and everyone is a winner. although its not boding well that A slavisa wants some un tried kid in, and B that we wernt willing to sign him

How quick they catch on.Sky have just put up the
Daily Mirror story, and almost immediately the Betting Directory

Slav is not going to walk! It goes on at all clubs. The manager wants to spend money, The owner wants players as cheaply as possible or not at all. The manager wants to buy and the owner wants a loan player. In the end the manager gets on with what he has got and has a little moan. At the end of the day the manager has bills to pay and even if he threatens to leave the owner does a little deal with Slav a longer contract with a pay rise and the manager stays. If he is successful at the end of the season then great if not with a new window and more players available we go about improving the squad again. Lets face it we are better off than this time last year.
