.......but again, like Sunday, they nick a goal while they're being battered.

Woy's been lucky there so far, but I think they've looked very unconvincing generally.  Come on the Turks!!

Ha ha! Glad to know I'm not the only one following Liverpool more closely than usual this season (I feel a bit like an ex who just won't let go...).

They really are making a meal of Europe, aren't they? We scored nine goals in our first three games! Only one 1-0 victory before the group stage, which was a 0-1 win AWAY IN RUSSIA! Who the fu flip are Trabzonspor again?

edit: Read this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009%E2%80%9310_Fulham_F.C._season#UEFA_Europa_League without smiling. I dare you.

And if I'm in a really bad mood, I read this :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_UEFA_Europa_League_Final.

Fulham, in the inaugural Europa League Final 2010. Fulham in the history books.

Imperial.  Everyone will know who they are after they've dumped those dole-ites out of Europe!!

The Turks have a bloke called 'Eggeman' playing for them.  Every time his name is mentioned, I think of 'I am the Walrus'.

Coo-coo-ca-chew!!!

Why was Liverpool Airport renamed John Lennon Airport? Because that's the first place he went when he got a bit of money!

Andy Crysell

Eeerm, like LOL!!

I see Gerrard had his civies on tonight, in case he had to dash home to see off some unexpected 'guests'.

Ok who can drop some knowledge on me, for those of us that are English challenged and still lacking a Englishman's vernacular, by explaining what 'ropey' means? I have been told my calves look like ropes but I am guessing that is way off the mark here. I am guessing it sort of means 'not so good'.

Yep, pretty much my definition.  Oh, and sorry to go all colloquial on your ass, Ridge!!

Exactly. Ropey = rubbish, not good enough.

Nice.....a new word.  :dft003:  Colloquial is fine by me, I say "when in Rome".
