who would that benefit other than Rangers or Celtic?!?

The UK is unlike most countries in that there is no set bad weather period. We experience bad weather at any time between November & April. Who would decide when the break is & for how long. Crackpot idea in my opinion.
In respect of clubs having "B" teams in lower leagues it works quite well here in Spain.
does it work quite well? or does it allow big teams to hoard even more good young talent, with the promise of first team football in the b team.

Looking back in time with the present system in mind it is highly unlikely Fulham would have seen the likes of Haynes, Mullery, Gale, etc., except as loan stock in their youth.  We really have to tackle inequality in the game just as we must tackle it in life.  Money is not the be all and end all of everything.

A winter break, no way that is when we most enjoy our foot ball.

However if they really insist on such a thing then they should simply combine two of the present international breaks into one so that we lose no further in season matches at club level.
