Experimental 1st Team This Wednesday

..FOF..

I'm expecting Joka to put out a highly experimental first team's midfield and attacker to the test against Bristol.

Not a B team who would end up in reserves, but an actual partnering or starting players to play most of the games.

Also, a different formation for us to morph into when the situation calls for it in the future.

Here are my hope  :005: and prediction.

Parker and Jozabed to be substituted during the halftime.

If Aluko or Ayite are fit, they will start.

First team defence rested. Starting are reserves.

Your crazy experiment?

H4usuallysitting

Parker should be at home resting......we're not going to win the cup, so no point in him being there....if he got injured we'd be going backwards

westcliff white

I am of the opposite view, think we need to get rythm in the okay o would like to see some rested  but say 7 regular players in there
Every day is a Fulham day

SuffolkWhite

Need two up front in what ever formation is picked, possibly even three at the back and five midfield.

"Doc, I've got a cricket ball stuck up my backside
"How's that?"
"Don't you start"

I'd still go with the kids. They have looked fantastic in previous rounds. Why show city how easy it is to defend against us

Don't want Bristol to suss us out as Ben says
Reserves deserve their opportunity again
Reserves are arguably looking better anyway
Team has 5 games in a fortnight so we do need to rest some
Can't afford any more injuries either

Agree with this team, Except I think Grimmer is out on loan, So maybe put Kavanagh here instead of Grimmer.

Agree, I dont rate him either, Who are you putting at right back then??. Cant be Odoi or Kalas as they are going to play 5 games in 14 days. Another possible option would be to give Tunnicliffe a game at RB, I think he would suit this role.
Also just realised I forgot about Johansen, He should definitely start ahead of Adeniran in my opinion.

I would also like to see Della Torre given a run out

Carborundum

I hope we put out a very strong team.  Win and we are in the last sixteen.  If Bristol play a strong team and we get pulverised, then who has momentum and who is under pressure on Saturday?  I'd like to see us play a big team under lights in the next round.  There's no two-leg ties until the semi finals, we would have a decent chance.

How about

Couldn't Martin do with more game time?
Yes, but he should go into the 23s if you ask me

..FOF..

Martin needs to fight for his place.

Joka understood this when he gave the idea that yes the team needed more time but the situation doesn't allow it.

What are you talking about?

kiwian

Definitely Della Torre in the squad at least, show some of the others how to run at defenders.
Is a dream a lie if it don't come true?

hovewhite

I would play the team that beat Middlesbrough easy decision for me.

MJG

I think he will show faith in a number of players from first two rounds. I would start a number of players who have been sub or out as well.
Its a squad game but also one where if players are not performing they should be challenged by others.

I'd go with this:

Betts
Odoi-Madl-Ream-Malone
LVC-Aderinan-Johansen-Edun
Piazon
Woodrow

Subs...Jonoran, Kalas, Sessigion, Tunnicliffe, Jozabed, Smith, Martin
