"What's really wrong in Milan is that when you're down during a game, they just completely abandon you. I feel absolutely no love."But as soon as you start winning, they treat you like family. So what's it about to them, just numbers and winning or losing?"

Fans do have the right to vent their frustrations out to the players and manageent, but too often we forget that we are dealing with people as well.

People that get paid tens of thousands every week for playing a game that most people play for fun.

I get where he's coming from, but, the fans paid to be there and the fans keep the club alive. Without fans, there would be no football. If the crowd are on your back, up your game and show them you're trying, don't start moaning about not having support.

Sounds an entirely healthy situation.  Thousands exercising their right to respond as they choose to what they see going on.  One young man learning that the world doesn't revolve around him, something we all discover sooner or later.

i think he's trying to say that the Milan fans only support their players when they win. He thinks that they should be behind you even if you are not playing well and he is implying that there are other clubs that have fans that support you through thick and thin.

He doesn't play football just for fun, its his job. A job thats completely unpredictable and can never have everyone playing finishing that game a winner

Once again, it seems that there's a certain salary level at which an athlete is not supposed to have feelings. Incredibly, those supporters who feel that are often the ones who chastise players who are performing poorly as caring only about themselves and their salaries.

So, what do you want? Them to be emotionally tied to the supporters or just be professional and do their jobs?
