Chris Martin was absent once again for Fulham, and when asked about the ongoing situation, Jokanović repeated his stance on the Derby County loanee.

"I explained last game, we signed a contract and an option to recall doesn't exist from Derby's side," he confirmed. "This is nice because they tried to offer him more money and more years, but this solution doesn't exist.

I think signing our manager to a long term contract is the most important piece of business we need to get done first.Love his passion for FFC and it is clearly rubbing off on the team.Although we lost today we need to remember the upheaval of the last 72 hours and losing a main frontman to the ANC.Couple that with the abandonment of our game on Friday and it would have been easy to throw the towel in to a top team today.We didnt and we more than matched them , often on top for long periods.So plenty to be cheery about but just a proven striker away from a decent shot of the play offs.BUT it is paramount we sign Slav long tem.COYW
