Could Chris Martin be involved at Burton?

Chris Martin will return to Championship action with Fulham as they head to Burton Albion (7.45pm).

Burton Albion team news: two changes as Fulham arrive at the Pirelli Stadium

Burton Albion winger Lucas Akins

Burton Albion continue with their 4-2-3-1 formation against Fulham tonight, hoping to record their first home victory since the 2-1 win over Rotherham United on December 3.

The Brewers make two changes from the side that beat Queens Park Rangers 2-1 on Saturday, with John Brayford (knee) an enforced absentee and Lasse Vigen Christensen ineligible to face his parent club, less than a week after joining Albion from Fulham.

In come John Mousinho, slotting in at centre-half and taking the captain's armband once again, and Lucas Akins starts in the place of Christensen on the right wing. Otherwise it is as you were, with Jon McLaughlin in goal behind a back four of Tom Flanagan, Mousinho, Ben Turner and Damien McCrory.

Matt Palmer and Luke Murphy are the holding midfielders behind Akins, Jackson Irvine and Lloyd Dyer, with Marvin Sordell leading the line up front. On the bench for Albion are Stephen Bywater, Lee Williamson, Chris O'Grady, Tom Naylor, Will Miller, Marcus Harness and Shaun Barker.
