doubt anyone would say anything, as the point of the negativity on here is that he is currently only doing it in a very poor standard league.

Nope, disagree. People on here will always knock him. Fabulous player. 20 yrs old and has got the lot, and willalways be the one that got away. Ah 1-0 get in !

Dembele is going to be a very good player. I thought his move to Celtic made sense as he gets to play under a pretty good manager in Rodgers, he'll score 35 goals in a season against poor opposition with good service and ultimately get a lot of attention from the big teams as the SPL has more coverage than the Championship sadly. Despite the fact that SPL is miles below the calibre of the C'ship.

If you've watched the highlights from today you'll see the the defending and keeping was comical.

An unmarked side foot in the box and a unmarked header in the six yard box. Nothing special

I thought that last season Dembele was over rated but I really wish he was still with us. With his goals we  would be comfortably in the top six.

For all the criticism of not bringing in player X or Y, penalties are gonna be the downfall of our season.  There's no excuse for a record as bad as ours is from the penalty spot.

Chelsea rumour about Dembele is absolute nonsense

People seem to think he's still 16. He's 21 in a few months. These days most players have reached 80-90% of their potential by that age. The likes of Messi and Ronaldo (the original) had won world player of year awards by now. So he's never in a million years going to be on that top level playing for a club like Chelsea.

Cyriac showed a better first touch on his home debut today than I ever saw from Dembele, so I think becoming as good as Cyriac would be a more reasonable goal for Moussa

If these 2 stories are also 'nonsense', lets just see where he ends up in the summer. That is as long as these clubs arent sent a video of Cyriac first, then all deals would clearly be off.

I can't believe the sports pages of the Daily Mirror would ever contain information that isn't entirely true ... but he wont move anywhere for that kind of money. If an unproven Ade Lookman is worth £10m the maybe someone will be muggy enough to pay £15m. If that's a top English, German or Spanish club he'll be found out and disappear into obscurity within 1-2 yrs. but he's already shown how much he loves a pound note more than a challenge so he'll probably go to another big club in a weak league, like PSG or maybe even China. Happy to have a wager with you on any of the foregoing.

As for the fact that he chases the pound note, I doubt very much he is on that much more at Celtic than we offered him, its just he had a sensible agent who wanted him on the worlds stage, not at our then shambles run by Arthur Daley's Bumpers plc.
Anyway, after you've eaten humble pie , if next season you just put 50 notes of credit behind the hot dog stand below the JH stand, that should keep my fat @ rse going till xmas. I appreciate it, thanks.

no, i would of loved him to stay, just saying the spl is probably the weakest it has been in my lifetime. 76 points off of 26 games, and 24 points clear already.

Agreed, that league is a total waste of time, he would have been better off staying with FFC and so would we! I might post a thread in the morning about Dembele and FFC, see how I feel (lol)!

just so i know, are you going to post every time he scores and/or gets linked with a big club? because celtic have won 21 games on the spin and i've been reading reports linking him with big clubs for a good 3yrs now. so it's well past boring. i've refrained from ignoring any poster on this forum thus far on the basis that even the dullest person might say something interesting once in a while but i think you might actually justify it. let me know. tks
