NFR - Frustrating day with boy's school match.

Had an extremely frustrating day today for a boy's upper school match.  Started with the referees being 30 minutes late    Then, in the first half with only 4 and half minutes left we had to stop play due to lightning.  Rules for the league are you must wait 20 minutes before you can start back up.  We waited the 20 minutes, started back playing and after 30 seconds had another delay due to lightning.  Now we must wait another 20 minutes before play can start again and we have 4 minutes on the clock.  We wait again the 20 minutes, start play and again instantly we are stopped due to lightning and this time thunder. 

So, with 3:50 on the clock and our boys winning 2 – 0 the game is called off.  The worst part is due to the first half not being completed, we must reschedule the game and start complete over.  The frustrating part is that had the refs been on time we would have easily gotten in the first half.  UGH!  Tell me where the fairness is in that?   :dft007:
