I'm 22 years old, so I was 9/10 when Andy Cole was here and he quickly became one of my first Fulham favourites. This was a time when Premier League teams were delighted with a striker than could get you 10 and maybe push 15 in a season, rather than everyone hunting for that 20 goal a season man like today. I wish him well, one of my favourites throughout my early years as a football fan.

I will never forget the sending off at WBA, if you're ever going to get a red card, make sure it's worth it. 

So under rated imo, most people I speak to aren't complimentary but the guy scored 12 goals in a prem season. Only 6 players reached double figures in 13 years so you can't knock it on a free transfer. He certainly knew where the onion bag was.

He had a big reputation when he came to us and a lot of us expected more from him. Looking back he did well and certainly new how to take a chance on goal.
