Was thinking of the players I've had the privelidge to see play & added a few I didn't see. Should probably be a top 20 but in no particular order, have I missed anyone?

1) George Best
2) Thierry Henry
3) Pele
4) Eusabio
5) Johnny Haynes
6) Bobby Moore
7) Gareth Bale
8) Christiano Ronaldo
9) Ronaldinho
10) Sir Stanley Matthews

I'm sure there are plenty more.

Duncan Edwards was one of the finest youngsters I ever saw play.  It was so tragic he died in the Munich disaster.  He was up there with the best.

As much as we hate to say It, Maradona is worthy of top 10

Crossed wires, was meaning those who have played at Craven Cottage.

Puskas has to be right up the top of the list. He trained at CC with the Hungarians before they hammered our national side 3-6 at Wembley.

Cannavaro for defenders even though it was short lived!

In terms of performance AT the cottage, I'd dispute that Ronaldo is worthy of the OP's list.  Great player yes but IMO not put in a particularly good show when playing against us there (remember the 'look at my bum cheek ref' game?).    I do think that Patrick Viera was hugely impressive though and I'd list him.

Totally agree. Have read his book, what a player.

Forever Fulham
