sorry of it has been done. how do the rules of away goals workmin the play offs, or is it straight forward aggeregate.

Southcoastffc

The winner of a semi-finals is decided by the tie's aggregate score after the two legs. If the aggregate score is level at the end of the 90 minutes of the second leg, then an additional 30 minutes of extra time is played to try to create a winning team. If the score at the end of extra time is still level then the tie is decided by penalty kicks.

The final must be decided on the day, so extra time and penalties may be carried out if the scores are level.

sorry just want to be clear. in some competitons during extra time the away goals rule can be triggered. Based on what you say that is not going to happen here.  Penalties is not worth thinking about!

Don't, I am nervous enough now!

There is no need to be nervous. We know that we have the best team out of the four. We have the best manager out of the four. If we play Reading over two legs which looks likely we should win. The its all about Wembley. Again there is no long Journey by coach. It is a short ride down the road. The Prize usually goes to the best team. The final point is no team begins with an advantage. Don't worry be happy that we have got this far

Also, though we will finish in 6th position, fact is we have lost fewer games than any of the others.

3   Reading                        lost 13   goals for 64   goals against 62  points    82
4   Sheffield Wednesday       12                 59                          43        81
5   Huddersfield Town          14                 56                          55        81
6   Fulham                          10                 83                          56             77

Also, this will be the closest gap between 3rd & 6th since 2010.
If we beat Wednesday, Reading lose & Huddersfield don't win the gap could be as little as 2 points.

The past 45 games don't matter now (it's history), the last game of the season doesn't matter to us, what matters is what we do in the play offs and if we lose of course it matters, but the team and especially the manager have achieved more than any of us could have expected at the start of the season! So well done to all of you!!
