How many attacking players do we need ffs!

If we buy anyone else surely it should be with defence in mind.

we have 2 players for every position not including youth, how many do you want?

I'm talking about all this madness with opinions on how much we should pay for 3 more attackers and what a crap window cigs Khan won't spend - what crap!
This is a good window and may get better!

Gayle not going to happen was said earlier this afternoon Newcastle were not selling as they cant get a replacement, they also wanted nearer 20 million

We have five wingers at the club right now with Mollo. Piazon is injured so that makes it four for now.

I was talking about a backup rather than billions on a few extra attackers!
It seems from the last 500 pages that people are prepared to spend someone else's money, over the top amounts, for attacking players just because Aluko (who I really liked) decided he's worth more than anyone else, allegedly.
For me Ojo was the replacement and we now have a proper striker in Fonte and good backup in Kamara, who can also replace Aluko.
Can't we see what occurs and then discuss but not, for once, have a dig atKhan?
Anyway - whatever ....

Things will never change re negative responses to whatever the club do, imo

Well said. Also think Ojo was the Aluko replacement. The lad has an end product so has every chance of being as effective.

My guess is we're done. Mollo has come in as backup for both flanks.

I think we've got the players our transfer people wanted & don't realistically think players like Gayle, Jota or Forestieri were ever part of their plans. Seems very unlikely we'd fail to sign all 3 if we genuinely were interested.

The ones we have brought in may well turn out to be decent but I get the feeling they've just dumped these new players on SJ & expect him to perform miracles.

All very underwhelming.

At worst this bloke would seem to be a useful addition. It certainly isn't his fault that he is not one of the range of unlikely super stars that many have convinced themselves were on their way to us.
He looks to be versatile with a decent range of talents.

His spell at Zenit can effectively be written off. And I think it important that full coverage is given to what happened there.
He published on social media a picture of himself being kissed on the forehead by an older man.
Subsequently the moronic element (quite large it seems) among the Zenit support subjected him to a tirade of homophobic abuse to which he responded with a middle-finger salute.
The older man in question turns out to have been his father.
Instead of supporting him in this matter the Russian authorities, suspended him for two games - a measure which was supported by the Zenit president.

This, perhaps, puts the breakdown in relationship between club and player in context.

St Etienne loaned him to a small club he looked good at them in the Russian league (rest of squad very average), then signed for them permanently and went to Zenit form there.

it does yes, but that was likely as gay relationships are basically outlawed and although this wasn't the authorities are told what too do.

ojo replacing aluko is as akin as it would be to replace Cairney with Edun imo. One of our best players being swapped for a young player with less professional appearances than sess, who already has one major injury under his belt. And Djaló was bought in as back up, and doesn't look that bad.

He, effectively, played a season and a half at Krylia. Joined August 2015 and left January 2017.

Given that the Russian season is 30 games long I don't see 46 in a season and a half as "just".
