Seems like a good time to mention some of Joka's most recent "outbursts"...

5 months ago [signs contract extension]
"I have made no secret of my desire to stay at Fulham and to continue the project that we have started."

"I am very happy where I am, with Fulham, with the city, with my professional and personal life... if I am successful then I expect to stay beyond the contract I have. I could stay here 10 years."

"Actually where I am right now I am very happy and my desire is to try to be a long time in this place."

As the saying goes though.

That says it all in a nutshell, so no more posts on Joka please, it's getting boring. Let's concentrate on transfer rumours.

It doesn't imply he has any inside information or any source to back up his concern of the whole Kline/Slav thing. He said the issues are gettsing worse but only getting info off a rehashed Mirror article then every so called expert having their opinion aired in an instant with perennial sh*t stirrers in there to make it ten times worse . But hey ho , that's the bubble gum mixed up headline hungry scaremongering world we live in.

There's a difference between people being concerned and people actively looking to cause divisions for a story

Sounds like the guy may have taken a step sideways or down moving from Sunday People to Bleacher report... Either way none are known for being very realiable/newsworthy/credible... I'd imagine he's working for them over other top tabloids because his contacts and information aren't actually very good... if he was very reputable/good at collating information/had good sources, he'd be in the bigger more reputable papers.

That's simply how professional industry works...

Cisse is a DM right? I wonder if we're altering the formation. Can't see KMac being dropped, and can't see us spending 2.5m on a back up

More likely to be £1,3 - 1,75m as that's what Palermo's accepted bid. And we desperately need quality cover in midfield so why shouldn't we be preapred to pay a couple of millions for it? As things stand LVC is the only first team player that can cover any of the trio in midfield.
that was the fee after a seaosn loan, loan fee circa 500,000 euros?

remember also the fees beingf stated on the Palemro deal are in Euros

The figures above are converted from the reported Euro fee Palermo were to pay. Also no mention of any loan fee.

I don't believe what the media are saying but IF it is true then to be honest Jokanovic needs to make a straightforward decision, stay or go. As much as we love him, we can't let him hold the club to ransom. It's our system, it works, we're (for the most part) happy with it. If he has a problem with it, either resign or suck it up. We don't need effectively an employee trying to coerce the owner.

This whole story is all a load of nonsense.  As for those promoting it it's just a case of  086.gif  086.gif  086.gif  086.gif  086.gif  086.gif  086.gif  086.gif  086.gif  086.gif.

Funny how, when it comes to Slav, it's the cheap talk - often baseless - coming from the journo that folks tend to believe or buy into. Yet, when we have quotes attributed to the man in question giving evidence otherwise, that bit is forgotten and folks look toward Kline or The Khans as a problem.

Not pointing a finger at you Mr. Mince. Just seems many prefer the story that creates the most turmoil.

It takes so many assumptions to come to that view: that there is any truth in the rumours, how many and which players were chosen purely by stats, which were chosen by Jokanovic alone (if any), that Jokanovic might be holding the club to ransom (whatever that means), etc..

Best to leave it until we know more.

Just looked at Day 3 gallery pics, and Slava is a smiling happy chappy by the looks of it.

twang

Slav signed a new deal even though all the pointers suggested that he would leave and he's stated more than once how happy he is here.

Until we here something very credible (not a someone at Bleacher Report, of all places), I'm not paying any attention. Even if Slav publicly criticizes the way the club does its business again. Becuase a few months after he did that the last time - he signed a new deal!

I actually thought after the number of new pages added to this thread today, there might have been something interesting to read e.g we have made a major signing or better still 2, sadly I was wrong! Time to borrow my wife's Kindle!!
