Mollo's past record looks very underwhelming. Also showed the finger to his own fans in Zenit which didn't go down well...

This would definitely be a padding out the squad signing instead of a message of intent signing.

Oh, very much a disappointment. Would rather we'd stick to Graham and then no-one else than having Mollo to be honest.

Sad thing is that with Mollo signed (more or less) we are less likely to get FF or Gayle or even Graham I reckon.

If we get Gayle is begs the question what happens if we go up? He doesn't seem to be good enough for the Premier League, but one of the best in the Championship. £18m seems a lot for a player we might have to replace in a year.

Possibly an irrelevant question, but I think a good few of our players are good enough to play in the PL - Cairney, Stef Jo, Fred, arguably Kalas - or at least are able to adapt, but Gayle's one-dimensional and gets found out against better players.

The odds on Jota to BRUM keep changing. SkyBet now has it at 1/4 which is still very short but nowhere near the 1/20 it was 15 minutes ago! We are 18/1 along with West Ham and it is 11/4 that he will stay put.

For the record I will maintain that it has been a very good window for us even if nothing else happens.

Even Bournemouth spend like 70 million over a summer nowadays. The prem money is stupid so buy Gayle to get there and cross that bridge afterwards.
