NFR: observations on a Spanish beach

Just returned from a refreshing break in the costas & feel the times have changed & no one told me.  The father of the family no longer organises beach activities & beach football for their kids, this task is now performed by mother.  The male spends his time working on his abs, checking Facebook & male grooming.  Tattoed sleeves are essential & a well groomed beard is a must.  When did this happen & what else have I missed?
