Button did appear nervous and jittery against Wolfsburg so all the more reason for the crowd to play our part and to get behind him, and when called upon to silence any boo boys (who were only too evident at the Wolfsburg match), who only serve to help the opposition at the end of the day.

Absolutely  :plus one:
Plus another one. Can never understand so called supporters booing our own players.

Time for Rodak to step up and for supporters to Button their lip

It does seem rather daft that we applaud the opposition keeper, a fine tradition I must add, and yet our own keeper cops it from time to time.
Good luck to everybody tomorrow including the current custodian.

Ridiculous to boo any of our players but, before the season has got under way? Insane.

Yes it's important to get behind David Button as soon as he enters the field of play, make him feel he has our support. After all he is a Fulham player, and he out of everyone wants to keep a clean sheet. No booing please its counter productive and moronic.
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

Remember in the standing days we always applauded the oppo keeper and he would usually wave back. These days they cant even be bothered to do that.

Yes, I have noticed that, very little respect left these days.

Although the applause is sometimes muted, indeed hesitant at times, it is nonetheless who we are. I guess some of the overseas keepers have no idea what is going on and the fancy dans are far too up themselves but as long as we keep doing it we retain the high ground and our tradition.
