Does anyone know the best place to park on Saturday, the last 2 times have done the park and ride but sometimes takes ages to get on the bus

There's no easy get out rom reading. Park n ride, park at the ground, or public transport all take forever to get away but Stokes's ask me nicely and you can borrow my Vespa , I'm not going.

What ever you do don't go to the greyhound track. There is a car park just round the roundabout near the track but heading the other way. It gets you out far quicker. Just checked it's Cordwallis on Bennet Road. Parked there the last twice (including the abandoned game) as was out on the M4 in 15 minutes after the final whistle both times.

Thanks for this. Parked at the ground last time. One of the first out the car park and even then it took about 20minutes + waiting for those damn buses to clear!

Set your satnav to drive to the ground

When you get to within walking distance you will see pop-up car parks around industrial units or offices

They will be within walking distance of the ground and not be subject to any police traffic restrictions after the match

Exiting the area will be easy because the car park will be on your way home - expect to pay £5 to £10
It could be better but it's real life and not a fantasy

Bumping for those travelling today!
