Have had a very good start to the campaign, haven't even conceded a goal yet. Untested coach at this level, lost Woods, Ota has picked up a gem in Saiz, and although most say it won't last, I hate to say they look good.

Having made quite a few wholesale changes in the summer, how have they managed to gel so well, and at this stage, look unbeatable? I'd have thought we'd have come out a better outfit.

Agreed - pleased we played them early on in the season at their place and got a decent result out of it

Seems pretty open this year.  Traore sent off for Boro, let's hope it's a 3 match ban.

A decent pre season against lower league opposition, working their way up to decent tests like eibar, monchengadbach, while keeping the squad fresh and rotated in pre season. With 9 signings done by 13th July.

Not saying they're the model to follow, but we've given ourselves a hill to climb with pre season own goals ; fitness, rotation, opposition, embedding signings early . But we're playing catch up, we were able to do it last season , we will do it again

Mince n Tatties

Cardiff bubble been burst tonight..3-0 down at Preston.

Open yes , but despite having "tough" games, no one team we have played has been better than us, and we should be up alongside Leeds/ Cardiff if we started off fit and fresh.
The point gained against league leaders Cardiff was seen as decent until Preston can go and smack them 3-0

Bit early for must win games, but tomorrow we need 3 points or the hill will be getting steeper. Another season of indifferent home form will not be good enough.

can't be bothered kissing other team's ar$e$

they were around the top 4 most of last season and 3 teams went up so you don't have to be a great mathematician to see they were going to be one of the stronger teams this year, unless they cocked up big style in the summer

they couldn't have wished for an easier set of fixtures to start the season. let's see where they are at christmas

Don't forget our £50 bet!! (In beer)
