One week of the trial for this extension - shall we extend the trial period..?

...no new newbies have come in as a result of this section that I can see - certainly not from the antipodes.

But some of you have warmed to it as a place to slag us Brits off, but we have kept a stiff upper lip (the viagra tablet got stuck to it in the cold).

So do you think an extension of this extension should be extended..?

I don't have a strong view, but I have warmed up a bit to it. It is a place to discuss things that affects exiles and overseas and probably wouldn't have garnered as much interest if posted on the main site.

I guess it is all about supply and demand and traffic, and if no one uses it no point in having it. I do check it, post on it and kind of like it. Either way, it doesn't make much difference but having it running for a few more weeks may not be such a bad idea

Personally, I feel it's not a bad place to have for those discussions that the main board need not worry ityself about.

This weekend is the Superbowl, and this would be the forum to post on for that, thus leaving the main board for the really important stuff ( only kidding kiddies  ;D ;D).

The queestion I would ask: Does it eat or drink anything? If the answer is no, and it is used, even sparingly, or just in spurts, then why not leave it?

I have to admit the offal got it about right with the dual system of Football and then NFR content, and perhaps this fulfils the latter as far as that's concerned.

Everyone knows this is a Fulham MB and the focus is the Club; from the front office, to the manager, the players on the field, and the fans!  But that's the General Discussion.

This section was created as an area for Aussies, 'mercans, and other "foreigners" to congregate and discuss other topics.  I've treated this section as a nice change-up to the daily-talk of Fulham, posting about other interests.  Rather than cluttering the main Board with threads about Cigars, the Olympics, and which is better Cricket or Baseball...there is a separate area for these discussions to take place.  It doesn't have to be a fast moving section to succeed - Finn & I can discuss cigars over a period of time rather than losing it to pages & pages of other topics.

The World Cup is coming up in 4 months - this is the perfect area to post on that event rather than filtering the Fulham football and WC football in the General Discussion.  So please, I pray you extend this extension of an extension for a while longer...

You have to admit, it does fill a role of 'anything but fulham related', and I haven't seen anyone complain about anything on here, as of yet.

I'm afraid some of what we have been discussing would not be allowed to discussed without the odd snark by those who can't be bothered so I would leave it and allow it to grow slowly.
