Bit of a surprise, thought he might of got longer to turn it round, some stating lost the dressing room.
Sean Dyche favourite.

He has been accused of being aloof amongst other reasons. But once you lose the Dressing room there is no way back.

The man on the trains thinks this might nudge West Ham as the perpetual flavours of the month, Pelligrini or Ancelotti, can only do one job at once and both Leicester and Everton have money bags owners.

Are Everton currently a bigger club than Burnley? Dyche might want 'the project' but for me and imho I think the owners at Bournemouth should be locking Eddie Howe indoors.

At Southampton he looked a real quality manager but, apparently, he was not popular with the players there with many glad to see the back of him. His interview persona a little different for the real he. No doubt he has got a nice big fat pay off cheque.

He also did the age old manager trick of shunning a player for apparently little reason only to then have to rely on them which makes the first decision (whatever the reasoning) look foolish. Similar situation with Liverpool and Sakho which leaves them with Klaven as backup CB. If he'd stuck around a bit longer Id have put money on Barkley scoring in his first appearance this season.

The early morning news on Monday was that Koeman had a vote of confidence from his chairman, then by lunch time he had the sack. How quickly can a managers fate change.

Essentially when any manager gets a vote of confidence it means: we are recruiting for his replacement, stay tuned for updates. Usually this happens within a fortnight.

Interestingly as an anomaly, the West ham owners seem to hate firing managers and if they give a vote of confidence it tends to actually be that. Only 3 managers since 2010 and only Avram Grant was fired (because...well...you would). Even then he received an ultimatum that he had to win 1 out of 3 games....
