In Slav we Trust!!!!.. Fulham Fans Reaction

Football a funny old game, back end of last season we finished on such a high but this season has just not clicked. I am happy though the supporters interviewed on the latest episode of 'Fulham1879 fantv'. Still support the manager!!! like they say we are lacking in confidence and just one or two players off being a good team. What is your opinion? going forward this season...

I go along with that. Confidence is massive in sport, but so is Character and a strong mentality.
In team Sport, it's also about having the right balance, as well as a togetherness. One for all and all for one.
As well as having strong leaders.
The very least we need as additions on the playing staff, as we all know is a Striker that can be relied on to score his fair share of goals, and play within the framework of the team.
Also a strong Centre Back that can dominate in the air and on the ground, and marshal the defence.
Which is somebody we do not possess at the moment.
That is the very least additions required. If there is any money left available, then maybe a Goalkeeper who is a step up to what we already possess, and will look upon his penalty area as his front Living Room, enter at your peril.
Last but not least.
The Coaching Staff to turn the team into a fighting unit, Home and away and go back to basics, and build from there.
To do that we need Characters and Winners, and a dam good pre match Team Talk. ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

Slav is still the man,what we are missing off the pitch this year is a bridge between slav and the team,who last season was scotty parker who has been missed this season.

I still back Slav.  I think Kline's summary dismissal may strengthen his position with the players.  It has been obvious that there was bad blood between the two and it is Kline who has gone. In the players' eyes Slavisa is in a stronger position and has been implicitly backed.  If any were not playing for him, they are more likely to now.

Slav is the coach and looking at what he has achieved this season it has been a disappointment. We are not playing as well and the home form is becoming very poor. He has tried to turn things around with certain tactical changes but they don't seem to have paid off. Plus he seems reluctant to play certain players. He is living entirely of last seasons wonderful second half to the season.

The problems off the pitch and with squad recruitment can both be blamed for our poor form. But he has to work with what he has been given. He will not be happy and has said as much. Most of us don't want to see any change in the coach but as in all things it really isn't a case of trusting he can put it right. But trusting the whole system to put it right.

Changing manager now would not be beneficial.
I think it has been difficult for him with injuries, and little if any influence with recruitment.
Did we do much better first half of last season?
Hopefully with a decent striker bought in in January, and the rest of the squad match fit, we can have another good second half of the season.
Who knows we may even make the playoffs again!
The main thing for me is not to get into a relegation scrap, (can't see that with the bottom three at the moment), and no knee jerk reaction firing!

I agree with this. I'm right behind Slavisa to turn it around, Cairney getting fitter can be a catalyst for us too. Just need a win to gather momentum.
