It's a funny game

It is indeed a funny old game and as equally a game often dictated by form. Both sides benefitted from other teams losing momentum or in the case of Leeds absolutely bottling it. I would say a fairer appraisal of last season would have us both top eight and not really vying to be the top three in the League and promotion. When it came down to it we played out probably the most predictable low scoring yawn fest of the season, hardly ripping up the league sort of stuff. I think both sets of supporters might have to set their sights at top twelve this year with the prospect of some rebuilding from the bottom up. Like us the training facilities and backroom stuff is there, front of house though it is equally messy.
