Brilliant all that money spent to supplement our under 21's, what a joke!!!!! Surely Fonte could have got a place or is he too good to be selected? Glad the lads/seniors are winning though, what an embarrassing team selection but at least they are good enough to be winning at Crawley (lol). Is it under 21 in age or as in appearances, the lot that have been mentioned have just about made 21 appearances in total!!

A cup game where neither side could progress due to previous results, seems really good idea for coaches to see what the fringe players can do.

I don't think the team selection is embarrassing, it's a good idea to give these guys a run out, especially as it's a dead rubber. It can only do them good, and anything to the clubs advantage has to be good.

No problem with it at all. If anything we dont use the U23's enough for fringe players or those getting back to fitness enough. Bring back the old Football Combination league.

Seems sensible to me. Fringe players get a work out and get the chance to show that they can contribute to the first team squad (Graham seems to have done so) compared to those who just sulk (Mollo perhaps?). Need a big and fit squad for the Xmas and New Year glut of games.
