"Hating" a rival team is pathetic and juvenile. I thought we had moved on from the ridiculous behaviour that would make someone dislike someone else just because of the team they support.

I'm guessing that this kind of attitude is why he considers Fulham a hobby club. You need to be well 'ard and get into fights to be a proper club.

Yes, it's not about appreciating football played on the ground the way it should be (i.e. poncing). It's just about f'ing hating the world and everyone who isn't a Barnsley supporter especially if they are southern softies.

I have nothing against them hating the world. That's their prerogative.
I just don't understand this Southern Softie myth. I am Southern but I am far from a Softie, and all the Southerners I know are tough and hard as nails, unlike a few Northen Nancies I have met in my time.  Northerners generally confuse politeness with being soft, and uncouth as being hard. Just because a man does not want to fight, does not mean he cannot fight.
