Anybody else feeling slightly frustrated with this season ?

Looking at the Stats,Derby have a great defensive record. Down to the manager I assume,and obviously the players playing to his system.

Curtis Davies has been a revelation there. He is the bargain of the year in the Championship imo.

Rowett is a top manager for the Championship. Just have to look at the shambles that is Birmingham since he left.

It's not that complicated. Slav tried a system that didn't work (false-9 with STefJo) to accomodate all the center midfielders on the pitch at the same time. He realized this didn't work, so went back to the reliable 4-1-2-3, and one of those center midfielders had to get dropped. After that, we started scoring goals, a lot actually.

Tho his hand may have been forced by the niggling injury to Cairney somewhat.
It has left a more "natural selection" of midfielders to be picked each game.

Derby always get a nose bleed towards the end of the season.
Hopefully this will happen again.
All we can do is keep beating the teams put in front of us.
