Watched some of those yesterday - he looks useful and has experience in this and the premier league and scores goals which is handy... the key thing though it seems is whether aged 23 he's open to listening to his fellow Serb and can calm down his temper and rash challenges. It will be a test of Slavisa's man management, but I'm hopeful. Can't imagine slavisa would put up with him much if he kept on getting carded and missing games. One game he played for Newcastle he apparently got sent off within 15 mins.

With Christie, boro fans are split. Some think he's a very good player.. others say he's found wanting when it comes to final ball and defending.. time will tell, but feel if true we have Fredericks and he will have to prove himself.

I'd still like to see Fredericks sign a new contract, although imagine this may put it back into uncertainty whilst he gets reassurances on where he fits at the club. Hopefully he gets them though.
