Is it me, or are reserve games to give your squad players some game time a thing of the past?

There is a good chance that Norwood, Christie, Kebano, Ayite, Fonte, Kamara and Kalas will be needed. In fact, they have been needed.

It's not a moan but just wondered if the thinking now is that reserve games to get match fitness are not needed anymore owing to what happens in training
