....the reason, we'll loose the 6 points we've won against them!

If Pompy go bust, Premier League rules state that all their results would be wiped out and only 19 teams would complete the season with two clubs going down.

That means that we would currently only have 24 points not 30!

No. We don't want that to happen, but with the new media deal brokered I am sure that someone will find a way (even if it is Sir Trevor and his merry men) to keep them alive until season end. It would be a terrible PR blow for the League if one of the teams would go bust, let alone in-season
If you wake up in the morning and nothing hurts, you are most likely dead

Hmmmm.................. I would like them to survive for a different reason......... I was sitting in the Fratton Stand on "Great Escape Day" and their marvelously generous response at the end of the game was maybe not appreciated in the jubilant turmoil of the away end, but I found it very touching.

They had a foreign owner and all the world was their oyster for a while, doesn't it make you appreciate our own Uncle Mo's consistent and settled support for our wonderful club?

There but for the grace of God.

Everyone has had a few points off Pompey though so it wouldn't be to bad.

We don't want any team to go bust for any reason.  (Except Manchester Citeh.  And perhaps Surrey's favourite team Manure. ;) And the Darkside! ;D)

Come hell or high water I am sure Portsmouth with be kept alive.
Johny's in the basement
Mixing up the medicine
I'm on the pavement
Thinking about the government
The man in the trench coat
Badge out, laid off
Says he's got a bad cough
Wants to get it paid off
Look out kid
It's somethin' you did
God knows when
But you're doin' it again

The only gainers are Wolves,Burnley Liverpool and Wigan who all lost to Pompey, the biggest losers are us Arsenal City and Manure who all got 6 pts
Watching the ups and downs since 1958, wouldn't have it any other way, what a roller coaster of a club.
