Ki Sung-yueng's new club is rumoured to be the recently promoted Fulham. Ki wanted to play in London.

5:52 PM - 28 Jun 2018

Would be a good signing but who gets dropped? He's a carbon copy of Cairney.

As they say "the grass isn't always greener"

Bournemouth set to let midfielder Emerson Hyndman join Wigan on loan.
Shame about his career, he has a lot of talent. Maybe not the grounded personality to work on his game.

If we announced Mitrovic and Ki, that would be a great start to the window. Think Ki has a lot more to offer than the team he played in allowed him to, to be honest. New contracts for Sess/Cairney/Slav and starting our spending on Ki/Mitrovic and I'd be delighted.

#Newcastle striker Aleksandar Mitrovic set for a permanent #Fulham stay.

A €25m transfer said to be on the cards whereas Slavisa #Jokanovic also wants to tie Ryan #Sessegnon to a long-term deal and thus send a clear message of intent in Cottagers' #PremierLeague return.

How reliable is this source? This is what we are hoping for.

Also, Ki would be a good free signing and would certainly fit how we play and has played a decent amount over the last few seasons. Presumably he would be instead of Norwood as opposed to as well as...?

I am not an expert on Twitter reliability, but he got almost 3000 followers and is a Serbian journalist.

Well over a 38 game season you need options - if we'd have had a player like Ki last season for example when Cairney was out we'd probs have got promoted automatically. Youd get Ki over Norwood as I said and hed be the player youd rotate the main 3 with (minus Kmac, we need a DM for him) or bring on around the 60th minute if needed.

Shirt sales would rocket, might be a financial signing much like man united with Park years ago

You need some squad depth in the PL. Gives TC a rest late in games and covers injury. Also, for all we know, TC's new contract (unconfirmed) may have a buy-out clause.

A bit weird but Swedish second largest news site Expressen has an article on the South Korean players returning home after the World Cup and ends it with:
'Captian Ki Sung-Yueng was missing from the reception. He went straight to England, where he in a few days time is expected to leave Swansea and sign for Fulham.'

Feeling positive this one. More so than the Tim Krul free transfer which has gone quiet.

Things will start moving from today I reckon. Players starting pre season will find out if in the managers plans and movement will begin.

That sounds sensible and makes sense, I expect there is a method in the madness, what with having to deal with agents and other clubs, I am sure seeds have been sown, as the club are fully aware of what needs to be done.
So I shall have another Large Brandy and take in some ☀️ sun.

Fulham join Crystal Palace in race to sign 39-cap Turkey international this summer

Newly promoted Premier League side Fulham have joined the race to sign Turkey international midfielder Ozan Tufan.

We recently reported that Crystal Palace were locked in a race with Celta Vigo for Tufan however, Fenerbahce put transfer talks on hold following the departure of manager Aykut Kocaman.

The Yellow Canaries have subsequently appointed Philippe Cocu as their new manager.

A source close to the club has revealed to Turkish-Football that Fulham has enquired about the availability of the 23-year-old.

Per the source, Fenerbahce are willing to listen to offers for Tufan this summer.

Meanwhile, the Turkish outlet Yeni Akit has linked Tufan with an unlikely move to Fenerbahce's bitter rivals, Galatasaray.

Ozan Tufan recently took to social media to share photos of him back in first-team training.

The 23-year-old joined Fenerbahce for £6 million from Bursaspor back in 2015. Tufan provided two assists and scored three goals in 14 appearances for the Yellow Canaries this season

Feel for him. He's in a bit of a purgatory right now. Lots of development time lost wasting away at Bournemouth. This move doesn't come across as all that promising - playing time wise - either.

Would love to see us go in for Daniel Arzani.  He is in London currently with his manager shopping him around after his world cup debut for Aust.  Only 19 and a huge talent.

Sure, it's a move that hasn't worked out well for him (or Bournemouth). Perhaps the simple answer is that he just hasn't turned out to be as good as many people (including me) thought he would. He was rather good at Rangers, but that is hardly the big time. At 22 he still has a little, but not much, time. Not getting a look in at Manchester City is one thing, not getting one at Bournemouth is quite another.
