Building a team isn't like making 'angel delight' or 'instant whip' ! It takes time . The club has done incredibly well to date to bring in the players they have but Joka is right that he needs more. However , even if he does get them it will still take a while to make the team a unit. Also I read on the forum criticism of Fabri and Andre. Yes they have to improve but again give them time. Remember when de Gea first came to Man U - he clearly was nervous and certainly not the great keeper he has turned out to be.
Please have some patience - no matter how difficult it won't all be over by late October- it may be grim but don't give up hope. The manager is a real pro and I believe the Board are now also at the races

Amen. This man is a soldier, not an armchair general with all the answers every second of the day. Fulham fans can't really even afford to be armchair generals. It just ain't that type of club.

Some of the youngsters have shown increased ability. We tie KMac down and constant rumors of additional activity by the back room staff to improve the team even more. All this fueled by shrewd investment from Khan yet we still have the groundless, *'nattering nabobs of negativity' worrying even before a ball is kicked.

Maybe I'm being a bit silly here,but I've got a bad feeling about this signing.The time it took for the medical and so on to get it over the line.
Come September they say,"Alfie isn't quite ready yet and needs another month".
Hope I'm wrong.

My feeling is that if you are strong enough to stay up then you have a chance of raising the odds for an even better outcome.  Just 'staying up' is never enough in a game of chance.

Would love to finish mid table this season, and yeah an expectation of a mid table finish would be good. But I would take staying up unless we get more defenders through the door.

I don't think th club would have gambled on Mawson if they were not entirely sure he would come good quickly, spending all this money the last thing the owners want is egg on their face

Groundless negativity? I don't think so!
We have done bloody well so far but concern on here that times running out is reflected in the HC's own words.

I'm sure there's more to come but the majority of discussion on here about whats still needed has been reasonable even if I disagree with some of it, while its your comments on perceived negativity that's groundless!

Now that more than half of the day passed, I think it is time to post results of the polls.

In the lb poll Tierney and Targett received the same amount of votes(22 percent each) and are tied at the first place. They are followed by Rose(14 percent), Willems and Augustinsson(12 percent each) and Shaw(10 percent). Theo Hernandez only has 4 percent and Scott Malone didn't receive a single vote, while 6 percent voted for other.

In the dm poll Herrera is at the top spot(39 percent), followed by Dembele(30 percent), Guilavogui(21 percent), Arter(7 percent), Fejsa(5 percent) and David Lopez(2 percent). 2 percent voted for other and Zinchenko and Barrios didn't receive a single vote.

In the st poll Aboubakar is first(39 percent), Abraham(18 percent), option other and Cavaleiro(14 percent), Prijovic(9 percent), Bacca(5 percent) and Perez (2 percent).

Based on that(and my humble opinion if it was a tie) I created plan a, b, c, d, e

Plan a: Tierney, Herrera and Aboubakar.
Plan b: Targett, Dembele and Abraham.
Plan c: Rose, Guilavogui and Cavaleiro.
Plan d: Willems, Arter and somebody who wasn't rumored to be joining us nor was suggested by anyone in this thread.
Plan e: Augustinsson, Fejsa and Prijovic.

Personally I would be over the moon if we signed any combination of players that I put on the polls, but that plan a looks amazing 😍😍😍
