I agree with their choice. Perhaps more of a landslide than I expected though. Interesting how few Sess votes there are despite all the hype and awards etc.

Player of the season in the league but only perhaps 3rd player of the season for his club. Interesting isn't it.

yes but with the players player it probably also to do with off pitch as well as on how he trains motivates etc

Well done, sir.  A defender given the nod in a sport that puts such a premium on scorers.  And it could have been any of three (Mac, Sess), and no one would have wailed.
