PL loan regs:

- Premier League clubs may not register more than two players on loan at any one time.
- The maximum number of loans registrable in the same season is four, and, under no circumstances, shall more than one be from the same club at any one time.
- Premier League clubs cannot loan to another Premier League club a player they have acquired in the same transfer window.
- A Premier League club may loan not more than one of its goalkeepers to another Premier League club.

So it is a max of two essentially. Just at any one time, and we could have four across the season if some of the loans end or are cancelled.

That's the way I see it, mon ami. And none of this 'sell to Top 5 United and loan back' business
The rules are very restrictive and that, I feel, is quite right. This is the big time. We need to forget about inward loans and get ourselves geared up for the long haul at the top level.
The only loans we should be thinking about are where to best place our youngsters next season.

I think you'll find that's only for loans from clubs in England.

Fairly sure there's no limit to how many loans you can make from abroad.

I believe the max 5 loanees in a match day squad also applies.
