Fulham discussing deal to sign Atletico Madrid winger Oscar Pinchi — despite arriving at the Metropolitano only one month ago

Oscar Pinchi could be moving to Craven Cottage from Atletico Madrid
The winger only joined Atletico from Deportivo last month to play for the B team
Fulham are reportedly eyeing up several potential deadline day deals

Fulham are discussing a deal for Atletico Madrid winger Oscar Pinchi.

The 22-year-old only joined Atletico from Deportivo earlier this summer and played against Arsenal in Atletico's International Cup win in July.

He was originally signed by Atletico to help their B team get into the Segunda Division but is due at Fulham today.

Atletico Madrid winger Oscar Pinchi could be joining Fulham on transfer deadline day

Fulham have been very active in the transfer window, bringing in six players so far with more planned.

Keeper Fabri was signed from Besiktas, while defender Alfie Mawson cost £15million from relegated Swansea and Calum Chambers will spend the season on loan from Arsenal.

Fellow centre-back Maxime Le Marchand has also joined, Andre Schurrle signed a two-year loan deal from Borussia Dortmund and £18.5m was enough to lure Jean Michael Seri from Nice.

However, the club are still seeking more signings on transfer deadline day, lining up a loan move for Sevilla keeper Sergio Rico.

They could also be planning an ambitious £25m move for Andre Franck Zambo Anguissa from Marseille, and Joe Bryan is reportedly having a medical in west London.

Martin Montoya has landed in London, set to have Fulham medical

Valencia right-back Martín Montoya has reportedly landed in London to complete his move to Fulham.

Outlet Estádio Deportivo claims they were informed that the player 'would have arrived' in the English capital ahead of his move to the Whites.

Even though the conditions of the Fulham deal are not clear, the report says that the Spaniard is now ready to have his medical with the West London side.

Fulham's first option for the right-back position was the Celta de Vigo player Hugo Mallo, Estádio Deportivo says. However, as the player is currently working on his contract renewal with the club, the Cottagers have chosen to go for Montoya instead.

The 27-year-old was expected to stay at Valencia this season, but the attempt from Fulham has changed both player and the club plans.

Other Premier League sides such as Brighton and Southampton were also interested in the former Barcelona player, but it's Fulham who are said to have won the race.

Fulham transfer news: The latest on Sergio Rico, Joe Bryan and Andre Zambo Anguissa

Here's where things stand as we approach the final straight of deadline day

We've reached midday on transfer deadline day and Fulham have been busy trying to get deals over the line.

Joe Bryan, Sergio Rico, Andre Zambo Anguissa and Martin Montoya have all been linked with with the Craven Cottage outfit today as Tony Khan looks to strengthen the side ahead of the Premier League campaign.

There's less than five hours left until the window shuts and deals will start to move quickly as we approach that deadline, but Fulham look in good positions on their targets heading into the final straight.

Here's where things stand on potential transfers.

Joe Bryan

Things are at an advanced stage with the Bristol City left back, who has undergone his medical at Fulham and should be announced in the next few hours.

This deal started to snowball last night after Fulham made a last ditch bid for him, despite him undergoing a medical at Aston Villa.

He wants to play in the Premier League and will be the left back that the Cottagers go for after being quoted too much for Southampton's Matt Targett.

Sergio Rico

The loan signing of Sevilla keeper Sergio Rico should also be completed before the deadline, with talks between the two parties at an advanced stage after news broke of a deal yesterday.

Fabri has already been added to the squad ahead of the season, while Marcus Bettinelli hasn't featured at all as he recovers from injury.

Andre Zambo Anguissa

Reports in France state a deal between Fulham and Marseilles continues over a move for Anguissa, although the player has agreed personal terms with the player.

A fee of €30million has been touted for the 22-year-old, while there are reports of the Whites offering huge wages for his services.

He looks set to sign imminently with team mate Bouna Sarr wishing him good luck in an Instagram message.

Martin Montoya

Reports are circulating that Fulham are looking to secure the services of Valencia right back Montoya ahead of the deadline of 5pm this afternoon.

Cyrus Christie was signed in January to provide cover for Ryan Fredericks, but now he's left the side are short in that department and Montoya could be the man to come in.

This one could go the distance.

Fulham set to sign Atletico Madrid forward Luciano Vietto on loan

Newly-promoted Fulham have the chance to sign striker Luciano Vietto on loan
Atletico Madrid loaned the Argentine to La Liga rivals Valencia last season
He was signed from Villarreal in 2015 after impressing but has struggled since
Under Slavisa Jokanovic, Fulham have been busy so far this transfer window

Fulham have been offered the chance to sign Luciano Vietto from Atletico Madrid on loan, with the transfer window closing today.

The 24-year-old Argentine was on loan at Valencia last season and is surplus to requirements at the Wanda Metropolitano.

He was signed after impressing at Villarreal in 2014/15 but has struggled to repeat the form that saw him score 18 goals in 48 games there.

Newly-promoted Fulham have been given the chance to sign striker Luciano Vietto on loan

Vietto began his career in his native Argentina with Racing Club under the tutelage of current Atletico boss, Diego Simeone.

He then made a move across the Atlantic to join Villarreal in August 2014, and made an instant impact scoring twice in the Europa League victory over Astana that month.

After showing good form, he then made a £18million move to Atletico in the summer of 2015 and has gone on to make 25 appearances for the club, scoring three times in all competitions.

Fulham have been busy with boss Slavisa Jokanovic seeing a clutch of new signings

However, he was loaned out to rivals Sevilla for part of the 2016/17 season and spent another loan spell at Valencia last term.

Vietto featured four times and scored twice for Atletico during their recent pre-season campaign and was awarded man-of-the-match after the 1-1 draw against Arsenal.

The newly-promoted Fulham have been busy during the summer transfer window, with Slavisa Jokanovic's side having already acquired a handful of players.

They include Jean Michael Seri, Maxime Le Marchand, Fabricio Agosto Ramirez, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Alfie Mawson and Calum Chambers.

Germany international Andre Schurrle has also joined on a two-season loan from Borussia Dortmund.

In what will be their first game in the top flight for four years, Fulham face London rivals Crystal Palace at home on Saturday afternoon.

Report: Atletico Madrid offer £18million striker Luciano Vietto to Fulham on loan

Will Premier League newcomers Fulham seize their reported chance to sign Argentine striker Vietto from 2014 La Liga champions Atleti?

It seems a long time now since Luciano Vietto was scoring goals for fun at Villarreal and being labelled the 'new Sergio Aguero'.

It has all gone a little bit wrong for the Argentine striker since his £18 million move to Atletico Madrid in 2015. Despite reuniting with Diego Simeone, who managed him at Racing Club in his homeland, Vietto has struggled badly to make an impact with the Colchoneros.

Vietto has scored just one La Liga goal in 25 games for Atletico and loan spells at both Sevilla and Valencia proved to be distinctly forgettable. So that is the risk Fulham are taking should they decide to take up the option to sign the 24-year-old on a temporary deal.

According to The Mail (12.11pm), Vietto is surplus to requirements at Atletico and the Europa League winners have offered Fulham the chance to sign him on loan for the 2017/18 season. As it stands, it is unknown whether The Cottagers are willing to play ball.

Slavisa Jokanovic's side are perhaps lacking natural goalscorers and Vietto is a poacher by trade, even if his recent statistics are poor to say the least.

Should he find his form again at Craven Cottage, Fulham could thrive with a player who scored 20 goals in 48 games for Villarreal up top.

Fulham linked with Vietto loan

Fulham are considering a loan deal for Atletico Madrid striker Lucas Vietto, according to a Daily Mail report this afternoon.

The Whites have been offered the chance to sign the Argentinian forward on a season-long loan deal, which could help facilitate the departure of Rui Fonte to Olympiakos. The 24 year-old has struggled to fit in at Atleti after starring for Villareal and was farmed out to Valencia last season.

Vietto was handed his professional breakthrough by current Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone, when the former Argentina midfielder was in charge of Racing Club. He scored 18 times in 63 appearances as a teenager and earned a 5.5m move to Villareal, where he scored 20 goals in a single season – and was named La Liga's player of the month in December 2014. Vietto has struggled for game time at Atleti, despite being under Simeone's wing again, scoring three times in 20 first-team appearances.

He impressed in a pre-season outing against Arsenal, where he was named man of the match in a 1-1 draw, and Fulham may view him as useful back up for Aleksandar Mitrovic. If Fonte is set to leave for Greece, as has been rumoured this evening, adding to Fulham's attacking resources will be essential ahead of tonight's 5pm transfer deadline. At the moment, only Aboubakar Kamara, Neeskens Kebano and the injured Floyd Ayite exist in the first-team squad as plausible options up front.

Fulham 'set to land Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa in stunning £27million deal'

The Cottagers have spent big this summer to strengthen after promotion and aren't stopping yet

Fulham are on the verge of landing Marseille midfielder Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa in a stunning Deadline Day signing.

According to reports in France, the 22-year-old will have a medical before completing a shock £27million switch to the Premier League new boys.

Cottagers' boss Slavisa Jokanovic has stressed the need for extra depth in midfield, reports Football.London, and Tony Khan has seemingly delivered once again.

Anguissa was part of the Marseille side that reached last year's Europa League final (Image: 2018 Getty Images)

Foot Mercato report, via Get French Football News, that the Cameroon midfielder will sign a four-year deal at Craven Cottage ahead of the 5pm deadline this evening.

He joined Marseille in 2015 from fellow French outfit Stade De Reims and has made over 70 appearances for the south French side, featuring in the Europa League final against Atletico Madrid last season.

Having already signed Jean-Michael Seri from Nice, this represents yet another ambitious move for Tony Khan and the side's recruitment team ahead of their return to the Premier League.

Anguissa will join the likes of Andre Schurrle, Aleksandar Mitrovic and potential new signings Serio Rico in west London this season as Tony Khan looks to build a team not only capable of staying in the top flight, but one able to cause some upsets whilst doing so.

Meanwhile, as well as the loan signing of Sergio Rico, Joe Bryan is set to be announced as a Fulham player after a last-minute bid saw him reject an offer from Aston Villa to join the Cottagers.

Report: Fulham in talks with Atletico Madrid over Oscar Pinchi

Fulham have reportedly entered talks with Atletico Madrid over a move for winger Oscar Pinchi.

The 22-year-old joined Atletico from Deportivo La Coruna earlier this summer and played against Arsenal in the International Champions Cup win last month.

Fulham, meanwhile, have enjoyed a fruitful transfer window, signing seven players to bolster their ranks ahead of their Premier League return.

Pinchi was originally signed by Atletico to help their B team get into the Segunda Division but, according to the Daily Mail, the Spaniard is due at Fulham today.

Fulham have also been linked with Sevilla goalkeeper Sergio Rico, Bristol City left-back Joe Bryan and Marseille midfielder Andre Zambo Anguissa ahead of the closure of the transfer window.

Brighton set to sign Martin Montoya from Valencia as former Barcelona defender turns down Fulham

Fulham had been in talks with Valencia right back Martin Montoya
But the ex-Barcelona defender is now set to join Brighton
Montoya will compete with Ezequiel Schelotto and Bruno for a place

Martin Montoya has opted to join Brighton and Hove Albion.

The 27-year-old Spanish full-back had been in talks with Fulham but Chris Hughton has persuaded him to move to the south coast and the Valencia defender is poised to sign this afternoon.

Montoya will compete with Ezequiel Schelotto and veteran Brighton captain Bruno Saltor for a play in Hughton's starting XI.

He has just enjoyed two years of regular football at Valencia having been on the fringes of the first-team at Barcelona for the early part of his career.

Montoya, now 27, made 67 appearances in five seasons at Barcelona, being used mostly as a back-up for Dani Alves before being loaned out to Inter and Real Betis.

Montoya will become Brighton's 10th signing of the summer.

One winner and loser as Sergio Rico closes in on Fulham loan

Sky Sports reported that Sevilla goalkeeper Sergio Rico is in London in order to complete a medical ahead of his proposed loan move to Fulham.

The signing would represent the Cottagers' second goalkeeper acquisition of the summer, improving Fulham's defensive options but damaging Marcus Bettinelli's Premier League hopes.

Winner: Fulham's defensive depth

Fulham are currently fairly short on goalkeeping options, with Marcus Bettinelli out with an injury and with last season's back-up David Button signing for Brighton.

Spanish goalkeeper Fabri signed for the Whites from Besiktas earlier in the summer, yet Fulham were still facing the prospect of heading into the first weekend of the Premier League season with only one fully fit senior goalkeeper.

The loan swoop for Rico, a goalkeeper with Champions League experience who was previously linked with Chelsea, is great business and will add to the Cottagers' defensive depth.

Loser: Marcus Bettinelli

How hard done by must Marcus Bettinelli feel? The goalkeeper has rarely started a season as first choice at Craven Cottage, yet has always fought his way back into the mix and emerged as a brilliant starter.

In the past two campaigns his return to the starting role has coincided with remarkable runs of form from the Whites, including numerous clean sheets and impressive performances.

Undoubtedly, there is a substantial step up from Championship to Premier League level but, nonetheless, Bettinelli has been desperately unlucky to see two goalkeepers brought in during the summer, right as he might have believed he would star in the top flight.

Fulham 'eye Luciano Vietto loan swoop'

Fulham could reportedly sign Atletico Madrid forward Luciano Vietto on loan for the 2018-19 campaign.

Vietto has been involved in Atletico's preparations for the new season, but the 24-year-old is widely expected to leave the Wanda Metropolitano before this summer's transfer window closes for business.

The Argentine arrived at Atletico in 2015 off the back of an impressive season at Villarreal, but he has struggled in the Spanish capital, and spent the second half of last term on loan at Valencia - scoring five times in 18 appearances.

According to the Daily Mail, Fulham, who have had an active transfer window, have been offered the chance to take the centre-forward on loan for the new Premier League season.

Should the move occur, Vietto could make his debut for the Cottagers in their Premier League opener against London rivals Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.

Claim From France: Andre Zambo Anguissa's Fulham Contract Details

Fulham-bound midfielder Andre Zambo Anguissa has agreed a four-year contract with the newly promoted Premier League outfit and details of the package he will receive have been revealed.

The Cottagers are rushing to conclude a deal to sign the 22-year-old midfielder form Marseille before the window slams shut today at 5pm.

The Premier League outfit have been finalising an agreement with Marseille and have committed to paying a transfer fee of around €30m for the defensive midfielder.

Anguissa has also agreed personal terms on a contract and it has been claimed that he is set to vastly improve his earnings once he completes the move to Fulham.

According to French outlet Foot Mercato, the midfielder's representatives have negotiated a four-year contract with Fulham, reserving an option to extend his stay for at least one more season.

The Cameroonian will be earning £67,000 a week, which is a huge jump from what he has been earning at Marseille.

The French giants signed the midfielder on a free transfer from Stade Reims in 2015 and are set to earn a huge profit from his departure.

Fulham Set To Sign Marseille Star In £27 Million Move

Fulham are hoping to wrap up the signing of Marseille player Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa, with RMC Sport saying that it's a done deal.

Despite being a newly-promoted club, Fulham are pegged as everyone's surprise contenders for the season, not least because of the brilliant purchases they have made this summer window. Just today, news filtered through that Fulham were close to signing Bristol City player Joe Bryan.

The west London club are hoping to get the deal for Zambo Anguissa signed and sealed, with a fee of £27 million for the defensive-midfielder. This comes after the club bought striker Aleksandar Mitrović for a reported fee of £27 million.

The Serbian striker helped Fulham earn promotion last season, scoring 12 goals in 17 Championship games. At Newcastle United, the 23-year-old was a frustrating figure. He was loved by fans and his talent was there for all to see, but his inconsistency in front of goal mixed with his wild personality and knack for getting sent off meant he was too much of a risk for Rafa Benitez, who essentially sold him because of the arrival of an unknown quantity Muto.

Fulham were relegated to the Championship in 2014 but after several years away they're back in the Premier League again and are looking sharp.

Southampton Keen To Hold On To Fulham Target

Premier League outfit Southampton are keen to hold on to young left-back Matt Targett, who has been linked with a move to Fulham, according to Sky Sports News.

The 22-year-old is in the radar of the Premier League newcomers, with the Saints believed to have quoted a fee in the region of £20m for the player.

However, with the transfer window in England closing within hours it would be difficult for Mark Hughes to get in a replacement for the player.

And therefore the Saints have decided to opt against any move to let Targett leave, in spite of him not being among the key players at St Mary's Stadium.

The former England Under-21 spent the second half of last season on loan at Craven Cottage, helping Fulham to get promoted to the Premier League via the playoffs.

He featured in a total of 21 games for the Cottagers, providing his team-mates with two assists and even going on to add to the scoresheet once.

Targett is a product of Southampton's youth academy, being promoted to senior level in 2013 after spending ten years at youth level.

He has a contract with the club that runs until June 2022.

Fulham transfer news: Ryan Sessegnon staying put as newly promoted side eye three signings on deadline day

Fulham are close to securing Joe Bryan who could be one of three new arrivals at Craven Cottage

Fulham are hoping to add three new players to their side as vice chairman and director of football operations, Tony Khan, confirms that star player Ryan Sessegnon will be staying put.

The west London side have held firm after bracing themselves for a long summer of interest in the 18-year-old, and are looking to add three new names after an already impressive summer of business.

Sessegnon starred in Fulham's run to the play-off final last season, and set up Tom Cairney to score against Aston Villa at Wembley as the Whites won 1-0 and gained promotion to the Premier League after four seasons in the Championship.

"We're not selling Ryan Sessegnon," said Khan on Twitter in response to rumours linking him with a move to bigger clubs. "We've never considered it.

"I couldn't sit back and read these false rumours anymore, had to say something. Ryan's key to this Fulham squad; he's one of the top young talents worldwide and in our plans for Premier League success."

Fulham have already signed Callum Chambers, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Alfie Mawson, Andre Schurrle, Jean Michael Seri, Mazime le Marchand and Fabri, but there will be a busy end to the window at Craven Cottage.

Slavisa Jokanovic is keen to complete a deal for Bristol City's Joe Bryan as a replacement for Matt Targett, who returned to Southampton after ending a loan spell in west London. Aston Villa had agreed terms with the left-back and conducted a medical, but Fulham's lure to the Premier League has turned the 24-year-old's head, and a transfer could be completed today.

Negotiations with Sergio Rico have also been taking place overnight and the experienced Sevilla goalkeeper may be a Fulham player before 5pm this evening.

Fulham pulled out of Martin Montoya deal to pursue other option at right back

Exclusive: Fulham will pursue another option at right back after pulling out of the deal

Fulham will not be signing Martin Montoya on deadline day after the club stalled on a deal and have now chosen to move on an alternate option.

Reports suggested that the Valencia man had rejected the side in favour of a move to Brighton and Hove Albion, but football.london understands that it was in fact Fulham who stalled on the move.

The club have been after a right back in this window and Montoya looked to be that man, but the Cottagers will instead move on to a different target after opting to pull the plug on the deal for the former Barcelona man and he now looks set to join Brighton and Hove Albion.

ulham are still hoping to bring in four new faces including that right back, with football.london also understanding that the deal for Joe Bryan is nearing completion, while deals for Sergio Rico and Andre Zambo Anguissa are ongoing.

It's been a successful transfer window for the club this summer - adding eight new faces so far to the side, including big names such as Jean-Michael Seri and Andre Schurrle, while Aleksandar Mitrovic also returned on a permanent deal from Newcastle United.

Fulham's Premier League campaign gets underway against Crystal Palace on Saturday at Craven Cottage, when former boss Roy Hodgson returns to west London.

Slavisa Jokanovic wants the club to sign further players to strengthen his team's chances of staying in the top flight this season, with a new defensive midfielder and left back top of his list of players that he wants the recruitment team to sign today.
