Slow start due to massive squad overhaul as per 2016 and 17. But when we gel the effect won't be as great as last 2 seasons because Prem level is much higher.
Hopefully we won't need such a massive overhaul next summer. Add that to a year's experience in the Prem and assuming Slav is still here, could be top 10 in 19/20.

I went for the same position and for much the same reasons.  Would be delighted with anything above 14th and am really looking forward to next season after a summer window of less dramatic changes and some fine tuning.  This season I expect to see us start to really gel in the second half of the season.

I have put 8th as it's my lucky number, but there could be quite a jostle for the top 8, but we have the Manager and the players to make that happen over a full season, and the first 38 League matches are the most important, and for those reasons I am comfortable and predicting in the end, a comfortable 8th.

I'm really not confident we have the best starting line up and said depth. A long battle ahead. So I've opted for second, as City will have just enough to hold us off.
