Gary Cahill any one?

Are we desperate for over the hill players or something? We would have to sign to say he was a regular starter (however he played) relegation would become a certainty.  No from me

My sentiments entirely.  I still believe we will have an excellent defensive unit in place well before we need to consider our January transfer window needs.  Cahill is a decent defender but is on the wane and has been for a couple of seasons now.  We have Odoi, Ream, Mawson, MLM, and even McDonald, and I'm sure any of them will do as good as or better job than Cahill.  Only Chambers has a big question marks against him from me simply because his attitude reminds me of the CM loan saga and I don't like players who think 75% effort is good enough.  I hope he proves me wrong by showing he actually does care.
