I went to a turtle hospital in Florida Keys over the summer and the stuff they have taken out of the stomachs of turtles is unbelievable. The turtles also eat plastic bags as they think they are jelly fish. It really makes you wonder why so many people just don't give a toss about the rubbish they produce and what they do with it.

The supermarkets should completely stop selling plastic bags altogether or make them edible so they could be used in cooking! Shoppers should take their food out of the packaging and leave it with the supermarkets, that would make them think about how they package the food. Apparently black plastic trays are the hardest thing to recycle.
