To choose the starting team we all wanted  049:gif
I was there, standing in the Putney end

Milo

I think V Chelsea 2DMs is sensible.

Against the Southamptons etc I would like to see Seri with Cairney.

Neil D

Rico still?  How bad must Fabri be?

You're of the mindset that the starting 11 should be dictated by the opposition instead of simply playing the teams best starting 11?

You keep saying that

Do you have a short memory? Fabri started in goal at the beginning of the season and was awful
It could be better but it's real life and not a fantasy

I have no recollection of him at all.  Rico won't be here next season but Fabri will - unless he's due for the discard pile I would like an opportunity to see him.

We've tried to adjust through every scenario...even playing Tom out wide when he should be central dictating what are attacks are like.

Why would today's lineup and shape worked less against Southampton?

I don't know if you go to matches, you aren't a frequent poster so I have no idea. However, I can recall that he played in our last two pre season friendlies and our first two prem matches against Palace and Spurs. He was then replaced by Betts but I believe he had another chance in a September friendly. In the three games I saw him he was dreadful trust me. As to the defence, what does it matter? Betts and Rico have had to cope with pretty much the same.

We would have more time on the ball and need more creative flair to break down a more defensive Southampton away performance who may be happy with a point.

We used to change the team based onopposition and whether we were home/away all the time under Joka to great effect. E.g. Ayite would play instead of Piazon away from home to give extra cover to our defence.
