Well, from what i heard there are real question marks on when Betts is coming back, other than training in pre-season is the earliest. No guarantee Betts is as good as he was this season, after a long layoff.

FFC have to plan for automatic promotion next season, which means planning to start the season strong with a settled two goalkeepers by the first game that doesn't include Rico or Betts.

Obviously, Rodak is obviously one of those two goalkeepers, but is Rodak good enough as our number one keeper? is Fabri the other keeper? and who is the better keeper? IMO, no better way than playing Fabri against Man City and if that's ok six more games this season.

As for Fabri's English, he only needs a bunch of phases and to talk football, Rico learnt enough english is 3 months and Fabri probably knows enough already but definitely by next season start which is what matters. Besides he managed in Turkey, which is further from Spanish.

One small loop hole in your analogy, Fulham do not do forward planning, it's all about the last day of the transfer window.
As for the Goalkeeper department, we need to find one that can catch the ball.
Rico and Fabri couldn't catch a cold.

Every body on here seems to forget that we have Magnus Norman at present as our third choice keeper. He did well at Rochdale on loan as he got lots of opportunity to defend his goal.  He is tall, well built and a very capable keeper. Should he be given a chance instead of both Fabri and Rico?

If SP believe Norman will give us a better chance to win our remaining games then yes. Otherwise no. IMO.

The article in qusetion is well-written and based on facts which every Fulham supporter would also have observed.  Rico has made one mistake too many and anybody, even a 6 foot in-his-stockinged-feet Spaniard would be preferable to this accident-prone, butter-fingered loanee who's confidence looks shot to high heaven.  Give Fabri a run or any other who looks to have the application to play between the sticks in our final run-in with little hope of survival.  Surely we have a Goalkeeping Coach who can test the applicants out in training or are Fulham that disorganised?
