pretty delusional topic. mistakes happen, no reason to cry about it - it's not like the FA will now nullify the result because of an upset supporter...

whats worse imo, is diving - and i can still remember the kamara dive on begovic. so by that logic fulham is cheating aswell.
The players are not neutral and at professional level a part of the job is to persuade officials to err on their side.  There have been and are some sporting professionals who like the game to be 'clean' and whether or not they have ever been a majority is moot.  But officials are 'neutral' by definition and whilst we should expect controversy we should also expect that controversy to be evenly dispersed so that 'goals' like the one against Cardiff on Sunday are replicated by similar good fortune at the other end.   The question is about whether decisions do pan out and as someone put it about on this very forum it shouldn't come on the last day of the season when a relegated team gets a slew ten penalties awarded to them.  The byword for officials is consistency in application and if you seriously believe it is at the required standard then I take it the FA are already employing you.

The trouble with VAR you still have a bunch of incompetent officials looking at it
True.  Incompetant or simply corrupt.  They are the same beast.

Problem is do we want football in the Premier League to always be this way?  To rely on having a neutral referee and linesman to be allowed to compete?  It was never this way when I was younger, we could appreciate the skills and efforts of other teams and not believe that teams like Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool are in FALSE positions aided and abetted by the FA to the eternal detriment of the game we want to enjoy.

Neil Warnock said it succinctly here.  They are indeed "the worst refs in the world".  Fulham fans already have suffered from these career cheats, one hopes they will be exposed one day.

There's another article about Warnock on BBC today. Although I agree with a lot of his statements about refereeing in general I don't think these names are providing these comments with any credence:

Quote"When I see people like Paul Durkin, Graham Poll and Mark Clattenburg - who were top referees and know the game as well as the laws - I think it's criminal they're not involved.

"Mark Halsey, he knew how to handle players and he could give major advice to some of these referees.
