I would put an offer in for Babel. If no one makes the right move for him he would year up the championship. What have we got to lose?

I am 99% sure that the club would love to keep him, so that is likely not the problem. Babel himself has however been fairly clear that he wants as good a contract as possible according to several reports. Whether or not that means from a competitive or economical perspective, Fulham will loose out.
