The thoughts of Babel and Chambers + Seri and Franks nominations and Shirleys GOS

Perhaps we can have an article entitled "Fulham will be forever in my Heart" by Markovic
or
"I will never forget the warm feeling I got from the fans"  Vietto "But why are they letting me go
and keeping Rui Fonte and bringing back Kamara"
"I loved my time at Fulham and am sorry) Fosu
'I wish I'd learned to catch the ball and a little more English like 'KEEPERS BALL"

It's bizarre isn't it?

After an appalling season the guys who were not good enough to keep us up explain how grateful they are for the money and to be able to move onto the next cash cow.
Never ever bloody anything ever.

And it gets worse an article by Schurrle now about not being well.
Watching the ups and downs since 1958, wouldn't have it any other way, what a roller coaster of a club.

Watch out for part 2 "Ow that's torn it" by Alfie Mawson.

Well we are all disappointed. I felt we were doing well and I had planned to stay here as the fans were so great and welcoming. Even when they booed me and said I was strolling around and on my phone with my agent when I should have been tracking back. It was such a wonderful experience and a unique place to play at Grousing Cootage. But when I became sick of playing and training and had to find out what was wrong. I spent the next few weeks at a Spa and by the time I came back we were relegated. Which was a shame. Not for me obviously. Still whenever you are back in the big time and need somebody to take the pressure of a big wage then I will be happy to come back and share in this wonderful experience.

Note to Agent - Will this do only I have a holiday to get back to.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Mentally I take it, rather than physically.

Very strange. They're pushing the players who are leaving us. Why? Surely we should be focusing on our actual team.

Doesn't strike me as strange at all. This is end of season. Seem natural to wrap up and give goodbyes. There's not much else to report right now most likely.

The season literally finished a week ago. Do you think everyone just rushed into TK's office and started having a sitdown immediately to talk about their futures? Take a number, please, he'll be right with you...

Doubtful, let those who want to say goodbye...do it. Some fans care about their departures and their overall thoughts. I'm not going to hold over what they can't control (the past) on them any longer.

Yes - it's a lot to do with the stuff they could find at the moment, when a lot of players' futures are up in the air, to find material to put on the website. Though I think they have  run stories on the new contracts for some players.

Asking those leaving for their thoughts is an obvious way of getting material, which may be of interest to some, even if they were loanees - loanees who haven't done very well, and are a part - cause? - of our failure, although Schurrle sored six goals, and Babel was definitely one of our best players, and also scored a few in the short time he was with us.
I suppose Schurrle  didn't have to write, or agree to someone else writing, the piece, he could have just disappeared and not told us anything.

So people usually say nice things - homilies in such pieces -'your fans are wonderful, and I want to thank them....' a bit like when someone has died, but what does anyone expect? - a critique of the way the club's been run, an apology for taking the money and running? Did anyone expect Babel or  Schurrle to stay  after relegation, or even want  Scurrle to?

But they did actually play for Fulham, and wear the White shirt for a time, and their names will go down in the record books, like many others who have passed through the Cottage portals, with varying degrees of success, or lack of it. What did Peter Marinello, for example, think  about his time at Fulham - in those pre-internet days we never got to hear anything.

If you look at my list you will see that all of them will be here next season.
and so a comment and thoughts by Johansen et al would (to me anyway)  be very interesting.
